Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American singer-actress. Most famously, she is known for her performance as Layla Grant, in Nashville (2012) drama and Claudia Shepard from Sharknado (2013). She also played the lead role of Jerrica Jem Benton in the film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples' parents Wendy & Ashley brought her up at Lake Mary Florida. She is the older sister of Ally. When she was growing up, Aubrey took part in her school's Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. She was a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School, in which she was the valedictory of the 2012 class. Harvard University accepted her but was able to enter twice in order to take on the role she played in Nashville. Peeples appeared as a guest star on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally Austin and Ally Grey's Anatomy (2005), as well as a character who appeared in Necessary roughness (1991). She appeared in the television films Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009) as well as The Good Mother. She was a part of the cast for a major recurring role in an episode of the drama series Nashville in which she played Layla Grant. Peeples discussed her bipolar illness in an interview for NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples as one of the top talented actors below the age of 20 in September 2014
